Cookie run
I sat there and waited for a friend to come
hoping that it’ll be lots of fun.
Waiting for her was like waiting for Christmas
maybe I should start making a wish list.
I went back to my boring old room
suddenly boom boom.
Was it a car door?
Was it a crash?
Maybe just maybe it was the Flash.
As I peeked out the door then opened it up
she walked in with a couple bucks.
She said “This if for us to do something fun
or maybe we could make a quick cookie run.”
We scrambled outside racing to the car
but it didn’t take long because the store isn’t far.
We sprinted down every aisle
franticly looking for cookie piles.
Aisle seven looked like heaven.
Sweets, candy, and cupcakes!
Sugary filled plates
cookies shaped like snowflakes!!
We got back home jumped in bed
and ate so many cookies we felt dead.
Don’t comp down 20 cookies in one night
or your stomach might want to fight.
