The disastrous game
Many fans still invaded the stadium
Right as the game was starting
The ball was kicked high into the sky
Offense couldn’t do anything
Each defense was a brick wall
As they kept preventing the soaring football
Then the overcast skies arrived
Also the small water pellets from up high
Ball was hard to hold on to
From the rain gushing from the sky
Second quarter came it got messier
Neither team could throw the ball
Every time it would just fall
Halftime quickly came
I got a massive cheeseburger and some fries
Chowing them down I did not realize
That the third quarter began
Wolverines were about to score
My shoes and socks were soaking
I could feel the the squishing of my shoes
For every movement I had made they would ooze
It poured down for a long while
Fans still Hailed to the victors
Game was close to over
Third went by and the fourth came
Tied at 33-33 Michigan had the ball
With little time on the clock
Now was the time for Michigan to end with a win
To kick the final field goal
Kicking for the win the ball floated for an eternity
Up and into the uprights they got their win
For the rest of that day I was a happy kid
