The dancing wind
Nighttime was falling with nothing to do
Tired, I went outside in the gleaming night sky hearing our cows moo
Out of the blue the wind murmured something into my ear
Something only I could hear
The wind whirled me around in a dance
Getting stronger it strength enhanced
In the twinkling but faint light
I too danced with delight
Just too soon our dance was coming to an end
Only now I began to descend
Just dancing without flight
Wind and me together in the dazzling misty night
Now I had began to dance slow
As the winds power began to low
Because now setting was the shiny radiant moon
For the sun would come out just too soon
The swish and howl of the wind had begun to die
Knowing now it was time for me to say my goodbye
Hopefully we will more time to spend
I just hope our dance wasn’t pretend
