Broken...
“Faster, faster, faster”
I hear, as my dad is yelling
Doesn’t he know i’m trying my hardest?
The turf soccer field made
It even more musty,
Behing me noises were
Approaching
I step over the ball quicky
A hard thrust to my back
As I come tumbling to the ground
My arm twisting and turning, cries and yells
My aching chest pounding, pounding
unsteadily
shattered I lay there
With an itchy thought in my mind.
My dad and I race to the hospital
Waiting hopelessly
To get a doctor.
wishing , hoping for an x-ray
In a daze, I manage to stay awake
A cast was on its way.
Doctors crowding around
All I could bring to mind
Was the banging feeling
Dickens 2
Of my chest.
On that hot, musty summer
day.
