If you were really hardcore
You would have thrown a full bottle
But you're just another spore

Your imagination lacks throttle
Singing about your nihilism
You want to feel grown but you're still little

You can't understand symbolism
Hardcore ain't about violence
And it’s not about fascism

You should all learn about silence
It’s about your community
And showing your presence

So down with your depravity
You really are quite foul
Cause you’re just a punk rock cavity

Everything you do lacks soul
Cause you think you’re harder core than thou

My name is Romeo, I want to make movies, and I am very into punk rock music. This poem was inspired by famous hardcore singer Jello Biafra and his band The Dead Kennedys. They would sing about being a better part of the punk rock community and being a more genuine person. As someone who greatly dislikes people who aren't genuine to who they really are, Their songs really spoke to me.
