Bathbomb
She peeled me out of the plastic;
Twirling me around -
I wonder what she’s thinking.
Looking at me while trying to decide what to do next.
Finally, she takes me to the bathroom.
She gets in the tub.
I don’t know what she can do with me now,
I’m not covered in the plastic.
She starts to run the water,
Stopping it at the very rim.
She picks me up.,
Spins me a couple of more times in her fingers,
She’s made her decision.
Slowly, I’m being lowered.
One! Two! Three! Four! Five!
It’s done,
It’s everywhere,
She drops me in the water,
The water is turning red.
I watch her.
Breaths are slowly decreasing.,
Until finally, all is still.,
Except for one final tear rippling the water.
