I got an amazing gift!
The Oklahoma Sooners were my favorite football team,

They were the team to beat.
My Dad gave me a Sam Bradford Jersey,
I am so glad.

Because that is all I have from him,
I have not seen him in six years.
Yeah it is quite sad,
That I do not get to see my own Dad.

But some things are meant to be,
I am mad that I do not get to see him.
When I saw the gift i gasped like the wind.
I bounced right out of my bed.
The gift was amazing!

Memories
Memories introduced life,
After we could not find anything.
He read beyond my room,
I slept for a long time,

Possibly because of the cancer.
The door,
It gotta free I said.
That is why,

I took a deep breath,
There was never enough air in the world.

My favorite poem is my first poem because it means a lot to me since it is about my family. It has grown because over the years I have thought about this situation a lot.
