Fears
Fear. Fear has come.
Not knowing what will happen next.
We wait, as time tick by.
For hours, scared and stressed.
We fear what will be said.
But we will take the news.
And then the truth comes.
The news comes like a bullet,
Penetrating the chest.
We pray it won’t be bad.
And it isn’t.
They were wrong.
The fear has gone,
And then the hope comes.
We know for now that all is well,
But still know it won’t always be.
Things come back,
The monsters from our dreams.
But we hope and pray.
We cherish the time we have,
Because we know it will be okay.
And eventually time runs out.
But we will be there for them.
And then the love comes.
