Aviation
I wish I could fly.
Sitting and dreaming,
Up there in the sky.
Nobody would see me beaming.
From so far below,
they won’t see me gleaming.
I used to belong, you know.
To a place now burning.
It seems so long ago.
Always swirling and churning,
With your rage, thought right,
Until your evil was yearning.
I was forced from light,
and watched happiness die.
all the while, engulfed in fright.
I’d wished to fly,
but instead I’ll cry,
no longer dreaming,
up there in the sky.
But you’re still beaming,
out there and gleaming.
