My Necklace

This necklace I wear everyday you see,
is the necklace my mother gave to me.
She gave it to me when I was young,
although my grandma's stuff I had a ton.
It is a silver capsule with angel wings,
and when it’s with me a better day it brings.
My grandmother has left earth forever,
but my necklace here makes it better.
I know that at some point everyone will die.
Even knowing that it doesn’t stop my urge to cry.
I indeed miss my grandma very much so,
but this necklace right here gave me my hope.
