Black
Black as your soul,
 Black as the Siren's call,
 I spread my arms
And fly as the crows do.

 Black as your eyes
 Black as oblivion,
 I soar over the Atlantic
 And laugh as I drop,
 Drop,
 Drop.

 Black as your words,
 Black as night,
I glimpse the water below me
And dare to glimpse my reflection.

 Black as sweetness,
 Black as dreams,
 I skim the deep blue
 And use my wings
To propel me to the bottom
