Let Us Keep the Spirit

Teens are all invincible
Or so we like to think
Work our bodies, souls and minds
Until we reach the brink
We can do most anything
Push 60 in reverse
To act on our stupidity
Is neither blessing or a curse
For without danger
There's no fun
No spontaneity
Our lives have just begun
And we will keep them
Words of caution lye at bay
Just let us keep the spirit
And we'll never fade away
