She Whispered, He Said
I lied to you, she whispered.
I never told you the whole story.
 Shadowy vines trail behind me,
Strangling anyone who is in their path.
When you got tangled up in my life,
I knew there would be destruction.
 I let you in anyway,
I took you down with me.

I loved you from the start, he said.
I never doubted you for an instant.
I wanted to be with you above all else.
You breathed into me a love I've never had before.
I trusted you, and still do.
I know you have your reasons.
You didn't share of what you were scared.
But that's okay, cause I'll stay anyway.
