Change: A Couplet

We've come so far.
Over time we change who we are.
Do we change for better or for worse?
A blessing or a curse?
Change is something we aren't sure of.
Personally, it is something I do not love.
For everyone, it comes in a different way,
In different times of day.
But if you try and see the bright side of change,
It might not seem so strange.

I had to write either a free verse or a couplet for school. I chose a couplet and based it off of my fear of change.
