Your spirit for some spirits,

sir,

no more, no less,

I ask;

Your only soul for this

elixir.

Your smile for

a flask.

I've all the time to

barter,

I'm never far

away.

So take heed, give in

to greed,

and be prepared

to pay.

I wanted to represent the struggle with alcoholism that so many people face, all over the world. Thankfully I've never had that fight. It's important to recognize how lucky you are and how bad it can be for someone else. I wanted to represent alcoholosm as something more than being bad on the bottle. It's an act of bullying, of self-hatred. It's a way to ease pain that nobody should have to feel. And it's important to spread awareness.
