Is There a Point in Hope?

There is a point in hope.
It is a lie that
When you believe and trust in hope
Your world is destroyed
Trust me,
It will never hurt you
It will lift you up
It’s sad that people believe that
Hope lets you down
It stomps on your dreams,
It never comes.
But
Those are things that never happen
Regardless of what anyone says,
It powers you through life and
It helps you through your troubles
It will come.
Don’t ever say
There is no point in hope
