Elegy on gangs
For some people gangs are all they know
They grew up without a proper family and ended up in a gang
Growing up using all the slang
Knowing since they lived in the ghetto they had no chance at fame
Thinking that anything that wasn't gang was lame
Knowing that no love in their familys ever came
The only love that ever came was from a gang
Filling their heads up with lies saying you have to shoot up a corner
And the only way to be cool was to be a stoner
Storing up their families hate
To them there is no way from going down a negative slate
Dropped out of school because it's hard to concentrate
Saying that anything that criticizing them is just hate
But it doesn't have to be that way
You don't have to go down a negative slate
You can concentrate forget the hate
Maybe even go out the state
And probably go a better place
