Crystallize
One breath and it will be over.
I wince, I claw, begging the crystal to thaw.
One breath and it will be over.
My life flashes before my eyes.
The hurt, the pain, all insane.
My life flashes before my eyes.
Where’d it go, that life of mine?
It climbs higher, the shiny glass, full of finesse.
Where’d it go, that life of mine?
Looking back, I’d make some change.
The kid I pushed, the girl I shoved, those I never loved.
Looking back, I’d make some change.
The crystal completes, traps me in.
One breath, one blink, then in darkness sink.
The crystal completes, traps me in.

This was just something really quick. The idea behind it is looking back on your life at the time of death and thinking about how you've lived. I hope it gets you thinking.
