There is so much that comes and goes.
No matter how hard we try,
We all encounter our highs and lows.
Sorrow like happiness, too passes by.

We’ve got to learn to let things go
And to face what lies hidden behind the other door.
If you lost something you loved, don’t feel low.
Keep your head high and steer your ship to the shore.

And when dark times close in on you
Don’t just cry, ‘why me?!’
Instead, look for the streak of light to go through
And my dear, it’s always a ‘we’.

You’re never alone even though there’s no one in sight.
They are close by, watching you
Silently encouraging you to fight.

There is always a silver lining
Or a dash of hope.
With severe consequences,
You’ll learn to cope.

Introspect yourself,
Take a deep breath.

No matter how disturbing a situation may be,
Eventually you’ll see
Where there is a will, there is a way
And it’s all going to be okay!
