He Was Gone Before He Was Here
I never knew his life was a divide
He never would show me all of his pain
He decided to leave by suicide
The first day I met him we did collide
He had so much going on in his brain
I never knew his life was a divide
He could hide everything that came untied
I guess he was just stuck in the fast lane
He decided to leave by suicide
I did not know he was unsatisfied
Life was hitting him like a big migraine
I never knew his life was a divide
He had always seemed too preoccupied
He decided to calm the hurricane
He decided to leave by suicide
Soon he thought his life could be clarified
He packed up his bags and boarded the train
I never knew his life was a divide
He decided to leave by suicide
