Obsessed Much
It's harder than life to give you up
To pass you by like a ringing telephone
Memories flash as I blink
Staying on my eyes like dust itching and never going
See you instead of my own reflection in a mirror
Sink water is no match for me
For it is you I see
I am eve and you are my forbid fruit
That Satan has dangled in front of me
One bite of you would send me around the world
In the dark you light the way
As if you were the brightest glow stick of your day
But as for me I will always be:
The stain on your heart
The crease of your smile
The strings in your shoes
The sun playing in your hair
And the wind kissing your face
