What it Takes to be a Student

Papers galore
classes a bore
binders before
they hit the floor.
Teacher next door
with a sophomre
acting therefore
like a prisoner of war.
It takes a warrior
a prisoner
a pride of glory
and a feeling of defeat.
It takes a fighter
a scholar
a dream to suceed
and a will to fail.
Learning is training -
sitting is surviving.
Lets get down to business
without a grimace
a regress
or a bloody mess.
