Meant to love me
Are you proud? Mother?
Of the children you tried to raise so perfectly?
I see that you are proud of one but the other is the disapointment you try so carefully to conceal.
Are you proud? Mother?
Of the person I have become?
my sibling is the one you joyfully praise and I am the one you look down on.
Are you proud? Mother?
Now that I am such a mess?
You make me sit at the back while you blissfully cry for my sister as she walks down the aisle in her white dress.
Are you proud? Mother?
Of those special times we had?
Does it make you glad that they were next to nothing?
I guess i'ts my turn mother.
I'd like to thank you so much for my past,
the horrors I endured would like to tell you my tale.
it's been such a wonderful blast.
I guess it's my turn mother.
My turn to call you all those malefic names.
I remeber how you locked my heart away for days.
I guess it's my turn to place the blame.
I guess it's my turn mother,
to say that I can't look at that bitterly sorrow face.
The meal that you deserve I have served for you at last, mother.
I guess it's my turn to say I want you out of my soon perfect place.
Are you proud? Mother?
That the strings that loosely held have snapped apart?
But now there is only one question to ask;
Are you proud that thanks to you I have a stone cold heart?
