Losing it All
Laying in her bed at night
 Fighting back the tears
 Holding on so desperately

She lays there and she fears
 That if she starts
 She will not stop

She fights with all her strength
But tears build up and drops escape
 Flowing down her face

Her vision blurs as she let's go
She knows she lost the fight
 She cries and cries

 Throughout the night
 And well into the day
She's lost the thing that she adores

 And fears it won't return
 Afraid she'll never play again
 She's lost her second home

On the field is where she lived
 Until this last past year
 She lost it all

 In just one game
And now her life's forever changed
