The Pin Retired
The war has ended,
Our lives have just begun,
Katniss Everdeen has even sung.
People are dead and the pin is like a symbol
fimble, fumble, it is all done.
The war is gone,
The doors are closed,
Katniss was the one the rebels chose.
Yes it is true, this world is sorta new
friends are mostly gone except for a few.
this is news to lots of people,
This wasn’t just another story,
This time it was different,
The pin took of its wings and retired.
The war is done, the rebels won,
Can any rebellion’s hope beat this one?

This is a poem about life after the rebellion in Panem once everthing is settling down but you can't go back and change it is done. The story is retired. This is how I felt when I finished the books, I wanted more but I was happy with the end.
