What’s at the end of this windy road?

I will pursue my dream
Because I know it's expected that I be serene
But upon this winding road, every so often I stop caring

Although it seems like I am chasing after the past,
My mistakes amassed
Only trying to forget them bedfast

The truth pedestalled on a joist
Life could be without a choice
But I wish you'd stop with that look, quieting my voice

I don’t cry
Tears are nothing but how our weakness liquefy
They won't bring any absolution or belie

But I do not see an end to this road, unsure
Who am I waiting for?
What for?
