Henry the Cat
His purr, like the hum of a fan,
Blowing air at us, cooling us down.
His fur, like the pillow I sleep on,
Soft and poofy, warm and cool.
His eyes, glowing and shining with light,
It’s the sun in the night, and tends to give frights.
His claws, sharper than a knife’s edge,
Clawing us when he’s angry, and wants to go to bed.
His attitude, fierce and sharp,
When he’s hungry or wants to be pet.
His meow, very loud and proud,
Signaling you that he wants attention.
His tail, like a line of marshmallows,
Very poofy and lengthy, swinging around.
In the night he tends to prowl,
Looking for food, like he’s an owl.
It’s a pet and an animal,
It is my cat, Henry.

My cat inspired my to write this one day. He was just horseing around in my room and he was just so goofy that it made me think and write about him.
