Luna
When night comes, the city sleeps
The sun dims as you come through the clouds
He gives up life for you, my love

The stars, they spiral around you
They glow, admiring how you guard the earth
Oh how they worship you , my love

Nature sleeps, dreamers weep
They long for longer hopes and dreams
The dreamers cry to you, my love

Luna, the moon, we owe it to you.

Sincerely, Dreamer

Ethereal
Pink cheeks; rosy and full as he blushes
His lips like a cherry blossom in bloom
The wind carries his voice in soft hushes
A walking poetry enters the room

Brown curls, they swoop the face in every way
Sweet words like a buttercup in the spring
The world makes his appearance quite astray
An empty bell that finally can ring

My love, he would talk about the ‘could be’s’
A world with open minds, and open hearts
My love, he would tell me how life should be
Someone unreal, he was a piece of art

So ethereal, exactly how it seems
This angle lives ,oh only in my dreams.

Petrichor
Droplets on the grass
They leave a smell so subtle
                    Arise morning mist

Galaxy
Ever look at the sky and begin to think, “I’m so small,”
So what would I do if the sky were to fall
Oh the people they act like there’s only one chance
To make a new friend or to learn how to dance
Oh the stars for they dance even when far apart
If you don’t take a chance you wont know where to start
Though the planets seem close they are still far away
Yet they still work together, colliding and play
If the stars and the planets can work through the night
It cannot be that hard to reach out for a light

For life is a story written in pen
Mistakes must be marked out but remembered again
There are no erases, the pens full of ink
But life must continue, goes on as you think
For everyon’s story they all look the same
Ink, random scribbles with nobody to blame

So next time you think that your lie may be hard
So next time you just don’t know what page to start
Your life is a story so think of the stars

Aurora
She paints the sky with yellow
The yellow paint fades the darkness
You tend to get a feeling that is mellow

She paints the sky pink
The pink paint reminds you of happy spring mornings
Your heart begins to sink

She paints the sky red
The redness keeps you warm and soft inside
There’s a pounding in your head

Even as she paints the sky a sky wont change sentiment
Oh how another morning day how it can be so delicate
Even with all missing, there’s something everyone can depend on
The painted sky and morning air, the flawless sight of dawn

Solitude
She wears black to match the night
And she runs like runners do
But she still sits to write

She cringes at every sight
And the people turn her blue
She wears black to match the night

She sees stars for she won’t fight
Anger stirs her like a stew
But she still sits to write

She wants to fly to e very height
Fly from fear away she flew
She wears black to match the night

She shuts her eyes, she shuts them tight
What they’re saying can’t be true
But she still sits to write

She can’t change, it’ll be alright
Another day can be so new
She wears black to match the night
Yet she still sits to write

Twilight
Ode to the night when the animals play
When the clouds sweep the sky and the air dears for day
Ode to the night when the stars come to dance
Where the wishers, sit wishing for another chance
Ode to the night where the ground misses sun
But the night still protects for the wrong that day has done
Ode to the night where your mind is at sleep
Where your dreams keep you safe as you count your last sheep
And the night’s like a blanket that can cover your head
It can cloak all your feelings while safe in your bed
So let’s ode to the night where the dreamers fear dawn
And the moon and her stars watch the night carry on

Devine spirits
She follows them home, cloaked in white and gold
As they laugh, their bare feet prancing
If only they believed in the stories they’re told
Of the guardian angel’s dancing

Oh the angel’s they live so far up in the sky
And when needed they come down on land
And when landing they laugh and they let out a sigh
And they reach for the children’s hand

They lead them to destinies, save them from harm
Let them follow the star to their dreams
As the girls wander helplessly back to their farm
Oh the angel she’s not what she seems

Their wings white and elegant, voices so kind
That you don’t even realize them there
Oh a guardian angel is so hard to find
A good angel is often quite rare

For angels they come when you need them the most
When you give them that special call
If you follow the good path and never give up
They will be there to help when you fall
Hiraeth
No turning back from the home of the lost,
There is no going home,
Life, it comes with a cost.
Can’t return to the place that you once had called yours
It was your choice the second you walked through those doors
There is no flying high in the home of the lost,
All emotions are drained,
And your morals are tossed,
Don’t you try to have feelings, the people won’t care,
They will not come to help you, all they’ll do is stare.
So you decided to believe in the home of the lost,
It’s a place of your own,
Nobody else has crossed.
When you’re here you do feel like you’re all by yourseld,
You leave happy memories up on a shelf.
But in real life there isn’t a home of the lost,
There is no emotions drained,
And there isn’t a cost.
In this world there is so many things you can do
You just break from this home, let them reach out to you
Because life is so worth it, just hold on, and stay true

Sonder
Someone you pass may not be what they seem
Oh so different, all of them are Art
Never underestimate what others dream
Don’t change your mind or heart
Everybody you pass on the highway has a future and a past
Remember to love your neighbor as yourself
