Time to Say Goodbye

we say goodbye to it all
the tear drops slowly fall
wishing to be as bright as the sun
but sadly nothing can be done
what do we do when our light has been stolen
our hearts are now frozen
Sitting in the quiet, can anyone speak?
wishing for the days when youre at your highest peak
that day isnt today
the blue sky has already faded to grey
I need some sort of light
but you're the one who stole it from my sight
