Find Your Brilliance
I found mine, it was by the road along with my confidence, sitting there with you ,lost. what happened to you, you said you were coming back. But my brilliance must have went along with you. Maybe I'm the sand and you're the ocean, you only come when the wind blows you my way.
Maybe I'm the one who's lost. And you're looking for me. But clearly it wasn't meant to be , sense I've been looking for you sense birth. I've been looking for you sense the first. I've also been looking for trust but the myths keep getting in the way. Everyday. Still looking for my brilliance but can find it. Maybe it will show up. Maybe the way I talk will change. But it's getting bad. It's getting strange. I have a smile on my face , but it hides a million feelings, it hides a million hurtings. I haven't spoken to you for while, but I texted you when we had delay. I debated that day. I wanted to tell you more than that we had a delay. But no, I didn't want my feelings to get in the way. But my brilliance will come back, I'm waiting to text you on the next delay. Maybe I won't, I'll leave you waiting. Maybe I'll leave you hurting , you did it I me, did that make it right? I mean I'm always wrong anyway, what makes today any different. Like looking in the mirror and not liking what you see, then have people tell you what you already know. But when they do that my mind just blows. How cruel can you be, I might laugh it off but really I'm hurting. But I found my brilliance, have you found yours.
