The Girl
That girl you see at school
Her life is pretty cruel
Her parents don’t know she exists
She just wants to be kissed
Her friends will look at her bruised fist
She’s fine, she’ll insist
Little do they know, in her room there is a broken mirror
If they were to know, they probably wouldn’t be near her
She just wants the love from her parents and nothing more
But that won’t happen so she’ll just cry and fall to the floor
She’ll cry and cry for hours
Finally falling asleep to the smell of dead flowers
