My Stolen Goat is Leaving for Middle School
To my stolen goat, I say goodbye
We’ve had a good time
My goat, Fredrick, and I
Like the time he ate all of my pie
Pecan, cherry, even key lime.
To my stolen goat, I say goodbye
I remember stealing you last July
We had fun in jail, even after the crime
My goat, Fredrick, and I
I taught you how to tie a tie
And you taught me how to mountain climb
To my stolen goat, I say goodbye.
But now you’re off to junior high
But please come back, for more good times
My goat, Fredrick, and I.
I’ll never forget you, and that’s not a lie
You were my favorite partner-in-crime
To my stolen goat, I say goodbye.
