Swimming Through Laps
As I darted to get to swimming class, my
Backpack was bouncing.
Cramps came from
Devouring too much food after school. I
Endured the pain of swimming through the laps. The event
Finally comes where we race. We separated into
Groups chosen by the coach.
Hurriedly, our first swimmer dove
Into the water.
Jumpily, I waited for our swimmer to come back. He
Kicked and swam with all his might. He reached the wall and I
Leaped into the water.
My goggles came off as soon as I got in. I thought OH
NO! We’re going to lose.
Out of nowhere I bumped my
Pate into the wall. I
Quaked and started swimming back around. I
Rushed to the wall
So my
Teammate could dive into the
Unforgiving water. My friend dove into the
Viciously cold
Water. But this swimmer was
Xerophilous. He zipped through the water like a
Yellow baboon racing for bananas. I was wondering if we’d win. Then all of a sudden he
Zoomed back out of nowhere. WE WON!!!
