I’m sorry
I’m sorry for the hearts I’ve broken but know that mine has broken too
I’m sorry that I may not live up to your expectations but know that everyone fails
I’m sorry for not being just like you but realize I’m not you
I’m sorry for being pained by your happiness
But I’m not sorry that you can’t accept me for who I am
I’m not sorry that I messed up
I’m not sorry for all the mistakes I made
I’m not sorry for trying to find my own identity rather than just being you
I’m not sorry for all my flaws because they make me who I am.
