He Should Have Listened to Me
Eleven years old, misbehaving all day,
When I asked him to stay.
I told him to just go and play,
Instead, he gets in trouble today,
Now he’s in his room all day.
He was young and naive,
Told him to behave.
He makes me so mad,
But inside, it makes me sad.
He does it just make him smile,
But he will pay the price for a while.
I think he does it because he is curious,
And it makes me furious.
I told him to be nice,
If he does not, he’ll pay the price.
He should have listened to me.
