My Sister
My sister and I, we played in the field
For hours, weeks, days
But now my life is just a haze
My sister, small and weak
Her hospital room just as bleak
She lie there, helpless
No one to save her
My sister is lifeless
My sister left us behind
But she left something more
A gaping hole in our hearts
A pain we’ve never felt before
My sister has been gone for 2 years now
My scars will never be healed
They tell me things will get better
But I can not yield

I have never lost a sister before, mainly because I don't have a sister. I just thought this was a really good idea for a poem.
