Lax it up.
We march on to the field determined to play our game,
Our neon orange bows shining as bright as the sun.
Looking back to our practices to see how far we came,
Now we are ready to show the other team how much we can beat them and run.
The ref blows the whistle, the girls take the draw,
The first goal comes mighty fast.
As we run down the field, the other team withdraws,
We tigers are going to give them a run for their money and have a blast.
They are up by four with seven minutes left on the clock.
The game is still not over, it’s too early to stop.
Defense is out there watching the other team like a hawk,
We need to dominate, so we can be on top.
The score is 14-14, we need one more to win,
She gets the ball and runs up the field with power.
If we make a goal, I’m gonna grin.
Going, going, going straight to the goal. Victory is ours.

My passion for lacrosse inspired this poem. We had a game recently against out biggest rival and that also inspred it. Lacrosse is my favorite sport and I dont't think i would be the same without it.
