It's the spring leaves,
A flower's stem,
And it's never the same,
But always insane.

Green is the cool shade in the heat of summer,
Or the taste of an unripe fruit or veggie.

It's the color that says, 'Go,'
Or maybe sets the mood,
Green is the sick feeling of when you ride a roller coaster with food in your tummy,
But it can also be really funny!

Green is running through sprinklers,
On the soft green grass,
And green goes well with red at Christmas time,
Green is simply absurd!
