It is a criminal.
It is a thief.
It is a kidnapper.
It has wormed its way into many of our lives from the very start.
It haunts us in our dreams each night.
There are no police to get this enemy.
For it is embedded in this corrupt system we call school.
Slowly engulfing our childhood,
just to spit us back out in the summer and start the cycle
all
over
again.
It is like a never-ending game, where the winner has already been decided.
If only homework could leave us all
Alone.
