Nothing But Regret
Dear future generations,
We are so sorry
To tell you that you have nothing
Nothing but a world of darkness
Darkness without the light of mother nature.
We are so sorry,
For leaving you with nothing,
But pieces of empty lands scattered across the world,
With no trees to provide you with fresh air,
Leaving you suffocating with the polluted air.
We are so sorry,
For the destructions we have caused,
To the point that a rain forest can turn into a desert
All because of our greediness towards a green paper
Called money
We are so sorry,
For thinking that somebody will do something.
But the fact is that nobody did anything.
Now all is left is a piece of regret.
In which we all wished to take it back.
This is for the future generations,
We are sorry.
