It Was Just A Nightmare
It Was Just A Nightmare
It was dark at night,
I was alone in fright,
Wondering for the light,
Until the clock strucked midnight.
Feeling afraid and also scared,
I kept on searching and looking,
Until I saw a woman in red,
I walked to her with a weird feeling.
The closer I walked, the closer she came,
AsI came, she had a smile.
I thought she was nice,
Until she revealed her face.
A hideous lady stood before me, cackling,
I began screaming and crying,
Until I heard words of comforting,
As I opened my eyes, I knew I was sweating.
I saw my mother,
Beside her was my father,
They shot me a long stare,
And I realized I had a nightmare.
