Documented Memories
A photo can say so much,
almost as if feeling a touch.
A photo can be taken at any time,
can bring back a memory at your prime.
Maybe your favorite basketball game,
that you set out to put in a frame.
Or when you were two at the park with your dad,
who always seemed to be wearing plaid.
Some of the best memories you share,
often wishing you were able to go back there.
A time when you were so happy,
this is starting to sound pretty sappy.
A polaroid,
would never leave your memory void.
We have so many different ways to capture life,
that would leave memories for a man and wife.
Everyone takes pictures nowadays,
you might even consider this a craze.
A quick snap from their phone,
only to be later shown.
Little do these people know what they have created,
a recollection that can be dated.
