Such power makes me sway,

falling under smoldering
gaze.
For lingering touch,

two hands, they pray.
sweeping faster--
then start again,
slow pace.

Beyond the forest,

yearning grows

grass;
Deeper draws the memory's

lines.
Find solace in each trace
of crooked glass,
the darker shadow of men's
minds.
Pull the intimate
strings
apart,
Unwind the silk, the web
we've spun;
the swelling and ebbing, this

careful heart,
Woe! the aching plague,
Fidelity begun.
