It's Raining Cats and Dogs
It's raining cats and dogs,
And it really hurts.
They feel like rocks and logs,
And they're ripping all our shirts.
With every clap of thunder
And every flash of lightning,
We all look up in fear and wonder
As cats and dogs fall clawing and biting.
A tabby scratched my face,
And a dachshund stole my shoe.
I can't find a safe place
Because my house sprung a leak, too.
It's raining dogs and cats.
We've resorted to wearing hard hats.
And as a doberman snatched my glove,
I found cats and dogs I no longer love.
