Secrets within the Isle of Serenity
You have deep secrets, safe from the deepest hunts,
By the world they were never meant to be learnt.
Sometimes the sharper ones prick, a groan so whiny,
The self so tired, can't contain the agony.
You don't tell me the truth, just a bundle of lies,
You say you are fine drowning in troubles that arise.
I had taken an oath to face your worries with you,
'cause I know the only person better than you is a better you.
You do injustice to your own priorities,
Probably an effort to escape from inner atrocities.
People try to tear your soul, say you are wrong,
I know how to struggle to stand up strong.
You move around like I can't feel you cry,
I can see through your heart, the thoughts and emotions that vie.
You are an emotion that enlivens my smile,
Amidst the infinite water stretch with roars
Of undulating unsteadiness, you radiate
Serenity from your isle.

I wrote this poem for my best friend. This was the time when she was in great trouble but never told me about it..maybe because she did not want me to worry and acted like it was all fine.. but we were friends since when we were 3 years old.. in these twelve years I had known her enough to read her face..I wrote this poem and then she told me her problem.. and together we tried our best to solve it.
The infinite water stretch is the sea and undulating unsteadiness are the waves these represent the troubles, the ups and downs and even when surrounded by these my best friend stands up straight like an angel radiating calmness or serenity.
