One Sunday Morning
Looking at the clear blue sky,
A curve came upon my face,
Suddenly sat I hearing a cry,
Looking around I saw a girl lost in the maze.
There I ran picking up my coat,
To my surprise, I saw her frightened of a goat.
Her hands were clenched holding an umbrella,
Trembling she stood wearing the dress of Cinderella.
A loud bang was heard,
and away the goat ran,
Ringing the bell around the neck where it hanged.
The girl ran away crying,
and then out of my sight,
And then to my utter surprise,
I saw Amy waiting for me as if we were going to have a fight.
"Where have you been?" She asked me suspiciously,
Hearing this my reply came instantly,
" Umm. Just went for a walk around that tree."
Then from dusk to dawn,
Darker became the sky.
Feeling hungry asked I,
"You couldn't find fruits, why?"
To this was her reply,
"Oh sorry! I brought an apple for you but found a girl crying,
And I just shared it with her while chattering."
" Was the girl wearing a Cinderella dress?"
Shocked I became when I heard a yes!
"You met her too?" And Amy got surprised,
But then suddenly I heard a cry.
To that my reaction was- oh my my!
I woke up with a start,
And found out that the sound came from my alarm.
