You know that feeling

when something is quickly

coming to an end but

you don't know what 

yet at the same time you do

It start's as a small nagging 

in your mind and

turns to a steady thump 

of pain in your heart

as time quickly winds down

That feeling of sadness you 

hold close because it signifies 

the end of something beautiful

and precious that you can't keep 

no matter what you do

That feeling of loneliness you 

get when you know your losing

someone you thought you couldn't

live without but they are slowly

slipping away and all you

can do is watch them leave

with your heart in their hands

thet pain will forever

dwell in you and only 

gets stronger when you 

remember that

its all quickly coming 

to an end so now you

just sit and pray that when 

the time comes to say

goodbye you will be

strong enough to bear 

its weight on your shoulders 

and hope that when you 

see them in the hallways 

you'll have the strength

to look away and

forget of what

used to be
