Dickenson's Style:

Sometimes being alone actually - hurts
Loneliness is the biggest disease known to mankind
I have lived long enough - to know what it’s like to be loved
I will never be able to express what’s really on my mind
Not without you

Without you I feel like a bird without - wings
Because I can never explore
I will never be loved again
Not without you, happiness will be - nevermore

Whitman's Style:

I can tell that I am drowning deeper and deeper everyday,
Depression is a very common thing for the ordinary,
Life instantly becomes harder for us.

Sometimes my brain tells me to fight back,
But my body has become immobilized,
Being down so much, I forgot what it’s like to be up,
I only wish that all this could end, because it hurts so much.

Sometimes being alone actually helps
Death is often the appropriate destination,
But then why die when you can swim back up?
Depression can only be harmful if you let them!
So why let them?
