It Disguises itself in a cloak of morality

Silently stunting our minds

It’s better that way, easier

Our feeling’s altering our perception of what’s real
Reality clouded by ingrained beliefs, insusceptible to new ideas

No reason to change

Opinions are always heard and accepted
As long as they’re appropriate, unproblematic

Difference isn’t needed

We all speak this dialect
It has rooted itself in our words, our daily life

We all speak the Newspeak

The author's comments:

I was inspired to write this after seeing all of the Orwelian like attempts at collective group think in the west, especially on college campuses (Yale protests, University of Missouri protests, etc.) Seeing the outrageous attacks on free speech in places that are supposed challange students and make them uncomfortable with new ideas. Instead we get student protests arguing for a "Safe Space" and getting people fired.
