Must We to Not
Must we love to not hate,
Rush to not be late.
Must we smile to not cry,
To sin as you tell a lie.
Must we swim to not drown,
Stand tall to not look down.
Must we be more to not be friends,
To start again just for it to end.
Myst we be skinny to not be fat,
Should it be round to not be flat.
Must we be ourselves to not be strangers,
But to be other to fit in.
Must we be one to not be the other.
